The Classical V Belt is a durable, high-performance solution known for its reliability, long service life, and low maintenance. As one of our best-selling products, Classical V Belt is designed to excel in a wide range of applications.
It’s ideal for machines running standard classical section drives, offering exceptional versatility and it is widely used in industrial settings. It is a go-to choice for agricultural and construction machinery, as well as processing and packaging equipment, among many others.

Features
Frictional Force Transmission
- The Classical V Belt relies on friction between the belt’s sidewalls and the pulley grooves to transmit power.
- The trapezoidal (V-shaped) cross-section increases contact area, enhancing friction and reducing slippage.
- As the belt is tensioned, it wedges tightly into the pulley groove, further improving grip and torque transmission.
Tensile Load Distribution
- Tension cords made of polyester, aramid, or other materials are embedded in the belt to distribute tensile loads evenly, minimizing elongation and maintaining stability.
Centrifugal Force Management
- During high-speed operation, centrifugal force acts on the belt, attempting to lift it out of the pulley groove.
- The V-shaped design counters this force by maintaining secure contact with the pulley.
